Jonathan Hurley Design has been chosen to develop branding for a pilot healthcare initiative in Devon, that if successful, could eventually be rolled out across the UK.
Neighbourhood Health Watch seeks to establish a network of support to encourage neighbours to improve their health in much the same way as the criminal justice system’s Neighbourhood Watch scheme increases community resilience to the fear of crime.
The scheme proposes to create membership based groups that will meet regularly to share experiences and ideas with each other. Health professionals will visit the group meetings and act as health coaches, giving advice on prevention and management of conditions and answering questions.
The corporate identity will serve to give a visual cohesiveness to the various “Health Watches” across the country and will help in the recruitment of members and the production of localised health promotion information.
